Q.

#AskTheExpert my 2 year 10 month is suffering from constipation and we gave her laxative after which constipation didn't stop and then started high fibre food then little it reduced and if I give rice again she is constipating.we went to pediatric gastroenterologist he suggested laxative for 6 months ciger junior. she js suffering from past 1 n half month n doctor said it is cronic

A. in some babies constipation may continue up to 3 to 4 years of age till then you have to you diet rich in protein fibre adequate water to the baby you may use dulcolax suppositories occasionally in the baby
