#AskTheExpert my 2 month old baby was vaccinated 2 weeks back, a bump kind of thing was formed on the thigh , the bump has not gone till today , there no redness or pain though. please guide what to do.

A. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine can cause swelling in the limbs which cang continue for more than two months also. it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination imgmediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
