Q.

#asktheexpert My 2.5 year old daughter eats only rice porridge (water& rice cooked) with curd or biryani/chicken/ some selective fruits/ manna health mix..is this sufficient enough for her in getting the required nutrition??I also give her multivitamin gummy bear..not sure if she is getting enough nutrition..she pukes if I give any other food apart from mentioned..

A. give all family food, don't cook specially for kids. Give well balanced diet including all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein. Avoid foods high in salt, saturated fat and sugar, foods low in fibre and nutrients, and drinks with caffeine or lots of sugar.

A. hi mam,if a child seems happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry about anything. there is no need of extra medicines. just keep continue with healthy diet plan.
