Q.

#AskTheExpert My 1month old baby has difficulty and pain while passing fart and poop. He is Burping is also a difficult task for him as he is burping only when I put him on my shoulder for about half an hour. Please help

A. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important. Enzymeds preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
