A. Albendazole for deworming is usually given once every 6 months as per pediatric recommendations. Since your 19-month-old son received his last dose at 16 months in December, his next dose should be given in June (after 6 months). Deworming helps prevent stomach worms that can cause poor digestion, weight loss, and irritability. It is especially important if your child plays outdoors or has habits like thumb-sucking. Ensure proper hygiene, wash hands frequently, and give clean, well-cooked food to reduce worm infections. If your doctor suggests, you can continue deworming every 6 months until the age of 5 years. Let me know if you need dosage guidance!
