#AskTheExpert my 18 daz old baby boy is not latching, hence we are forced to give him formula milk. I am expressing milk with the help of breast pump twice a day,but that is not enough to feed him. looking for advice n help how do I help him so he start taking mother's milk. wat do I do??? pls help

A. Hi mom some babies they take time to latch. so no need to worry keep trying. keep the baby head a bit elevated and put whole of the nipple and most of the aerola in the baby mouth so that the baby latches easily. If the nipples are inverted or flat due to which baby is unable to latch then u can use nipple shield like babyhug nipple shield to feed ur baby
