#asktheexpert my 17 days old baby girl pooping after 2-3 alternate mother feed is this normal or something else or should be treated.She is pooping 6-8 times a day.Can you help me out??

A. Frequent pooping in a breastfed newborn is generally normal. Breast milk is easily digested, and babies may poop after each feeding. It's common for them to have multiple bowel movements a day, but this can vary. As long as your baby is gaining weight, has normal urine output, and appears healthy, frequent pooping is usually not a cause for concern. However, if you have concerns, consult your pediatrician for guidance.
