#asktheexpert my 16 months baby girl is suffering from running nose and cough and cold. not able to sleep properly due to congestion. pl help me to get rid off from this situation.

A. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Tvreatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines lvike sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

A. Hello mom You should try to give his team with warm water or try to nebulise your baby. Rather than this you can use nasal clear drops to clean your baby’s nose. These are the only solution to clean baby’s nose. And you can also add very little amount of turmeric and babies milk it will also helps in curing cold and cough
