Q.

#asktheexpert my 16 month old have growth hormone deficiency, his IGF 1 report is less than 15 that means almost negligible so endocrinologist suggest Growth hormone injections which is given every week, is it safe ,can we give? please suggest, he is very underweight, height is also not up to the mark, very thin and milestone delayed by 2 3 months. pls suggest what to do?

A. yes it is normal. in such cases hormonal treatment is goven to kids. its safe. .hormones are important fir proper growth n development. so better to follow youtkr doctors advice.
