#AskTheExpert My 14months old son has a very disturbed sleep at night. he wakes up crying out loudly exactly after 30 to 40 mins once put to sleep. Then again wakes up at random hours and keeps awake for almost 2hrs. In total he gets about 6 to 7hrs of sleep. What can I do to better his sleep? I have tried almost everything

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort whjgich can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gastica drops.
other reasons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and more which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
