#asktheexpert My 13 month old daughter has a dry scalp, it appears white patchy. There's no itching or redness or any other signs. Can you suggest any remedies to get rid if the dry scalp. She had cradle cap when she was around 3-4 months old which subsided by itself. This looks similar but is not crusty

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. hi, it might be dandruff or fungal infection.. Consult a skin care specialist..to ensure that it will require medical intervention.. Give plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. Brushing your babies hair before shampooing. you can use sebamed anti dandruff shampoo. Daily oiling is also important. Include more Give green leafy vegetables, dairy products. Maintain proper hygein.
