#AskTheExpert My 12 days old son has dried blood in his belly button after the umblical clip fell down. I have cleaned it with swabs earlier but then the little mucus started coming out so i stopped cleaning. Now please tell me how should i clean the dried blood? Or should i wait few more days to wipe it out.

A. dont clean repetitive ok. you can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat wellsee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her
