Q.

#AskTheExpert my 11 months daughter weighing 10.5kgs is having cold and flu with cough from the last three days, her fever reached upto 102.4°F and she has white mucus. what should i give her?

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases adlong with decongegstant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. good morning for emergency I would recommend that you should try to give paracetamol to the baby but it will be better if you try to doctor for proper check up and start using medicine
