Q.

#AskTheExpert my 1 year old walk on toes, sometimes he keep his right foot flat but not his left... he is hyper active no other issues.... please give me some suggestions should I take him to orthopedics or to the physiotherapist, or will he walk on his feet flat when he grew up.

A. this is called toe walking it is normal in infants Baby grows in phasic manner First back muscles get strengthen Baby started sitting with support by 4 to 5 months follow by sitting without support 8 to 9 months Rolling or spontaneous sitting comes by 10 to 11months, Standing comes by 13 months. Baby must walk by 18 months if not so must consult for lower limb muscle tone and power. Consult with pediatrics neurologist.
