#AskTheExpert My 1-1/2 year son got ganglion cyst on his right inner wrist. We show it to doctor he suggested surgery after 2-3 years. Can it be treated without surgery?

A. how is baby cyst now, my baby also same problem

A. yes you need to follow the advice given by your doctor . regarding this concern further you can dicuss with the doctor if any such queries or doubts are there it will be cleared . your doctor will give guidance as needed.

A. hi usually , ganglion cyst alright by the time. but in some cases ,if repeatative movements make it bigger or painful , doctor may recommend rest and wearing splint or brace. Anti-inflammatory Medicines can also help to ease the mild pain or discomfort. so ,in your child case ,if you have doubt , better to take second opinion from other local pediatrician who can give guidance after examining your child.
