#AskTheExpert meri beti 15 month ki hae usse humne 21st September ko private vaccination krwai hae PCV B1 AND MMR 2 usse fever ho gya 102 uska head bhout garam.hae hum kya kare please reply is this normal fever in these 2 vaccination

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing anuy pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fotmentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .
