#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko My son is 2 yrs 9 months age. But he didn't utter a single word. We talked with him continuously, read to him went to park n plays with other children also but he does all his chores by gestures. Please suggest.

ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician4 years agoA. in this case I would suggest you to consult a pediatrician to have a detailed physical examination of your child and relevant investigation to rule out any organic problems in the child

Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi you may visit a speech therapist for that matter. But do not panic, some kids speak late and it is absolutely normal. And with that keep talking to him, encourage him to speak rather than explaining things in gesture
