#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko my kid wheeze and cough a lot when he get cold. Doctor prescribed Asthalin inhaler . however, this inhaler doesn't work for my kid. however formoterol and budesonide ( foracort200) works immediately.

A. hello mam even my son is having cough from one month n is on inhalers budesonide n levolin, i just want to no does this inhalers really control cough n does cough completely get cured even after stopping these inhalers.

A. yt cold and cough in the baby most of the times is viral infection which will be reducing in a week time trade the baby symptomatically advisable to use steam inhalation for liquification of secretions

Q. #ask the expert My son is 4.6yr old and started going to school from last month. Around May 19 he got cold for which ibuprofen and crocin was given and cold subsided within 2 days. from 3rd day cough started (wet Cough) which has mucus and after a week when doc checked he said viral induced wheeze for which Asthalin inhaler and omnicortil was provided. But cough continued which was not high but average. Last week he again got cold and cough still continued. Now after medication cold has subsided but wet cough still continuing. overall it's now almost a month since he is having this cough. we are continuing with Asthalin inhaler as of now. Does wet cough last this long
