A. To help the child gain weight and height, it is important to include protein and vitamin rich foods in the diet. Feed fatty foods for weight gain like rice, potato, pumpkin, banana, avocado, sweet potato, eggs, chicken, fish, ghee, cereals, milkshakes, legumes and 500-600 ml milk daily. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks. For height gain, engage her in physical activities like running, jumping, climbing, hanging, cycling, swimming and other outdoor games. Limit screen time to minimum and keep her well hydrated with water, fresh juices, buttermilk and coconut water.
