#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko My baby girl Navya is 2 years 2 months old. she speaks words very clearly and can speak alphabets and count to 20. also can memorize few rhymes. But she doesn't communicate much even when she wants anything. she seems happy with herself. pl. suggest and advice.

ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician4 years agoA. Make them speak by their own more and more. Make them repeat stories and poems,. Talk with them. This will improve their communications skills.Encourage her
Keep talking to her
keep telling while feeding her, bathing her, what you are doing
Does she understand what you speak?
Does she maintain eye contact?
Does she follow instructions?
Does she speak 2-3 words?
if doesnt then get her developmental assessment done
