#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko hi doctor, my name is hareesh and i have a 2 month son his mother lacks breast milk and so we started cow milk as well however, recently someone told that cow milk should be avoided and hence we are looking for a good baby powder for him can you suggest anything

A. Hello good morning !! For increasing breastmilk supply include lactating foods Milk, dairy products, rusk, Bread toast, papaya, chikoo, bottle gourd, Poppy seeds, garlic, mutton kheema, garlic milk, having more water and fluids for hydration. Yes cow, buffalo, packet milk is not suggested for below one year babies as they can't digest animals milk. So breast milk or formula milk is suggested until one year. Consult Paeditrician for formula milk powder suggetion. Aptamil,Nan pro ,similac, lactogen are good.
