#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko Goodmorning doctor my daughter is 5 months 1 week old now. she has cradle cap. Iam using Arcolane shampoo alternate days from 2 months, as advised by my doc. But from a week her cradle cap increased and she is scratching more. i can see hairloss also. What can be done to reduce her cradle cap. please advise. thank you doc

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Simply rub a few drops of oil onto baby's head and massage with your fingers or a cradle cap brush. Rinse the oil off with a gentle baby shampoo and brush again. Never let the oil sit overnight on baby's scalp, since this can clog the oil glands further and worsen the condition.
