Q.

#asktheexpert Madhavan 9 months male baby is suffering from lumps near left side neck under ear since 18th August. There are 2 type of Injection has been prescribed and continue since 21st August. 1. Ceftriaxone Tazobactum Iv - 1 cc morning and 1/2 cc evening 2.Mikacin inj 100 mg - half cc x 2 times.

A. it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or axny lab / radiological investigations.

A. hi such swollen lymphnodes are result of frequent infections as they filter bacteria and viruses there so please take necessary follow ups from your pediatrician and give plenty of breastfeeds to your child which definitely help to cure the problem faster
