If your 3-month-old baby is passing stool 3 to 4 times a day, it's generally normal and not a cause for concern, especially if the stool is soft, your baby is feeding well, gaining weight, and not showing signs of discomfort. At this age, breastfed or formula-fed babies can have varied stool patterns, ranging from several times a day to once every few days. As long as the stool isn’t watery, unusually hard, or accompanied by excessive crying or signs of illness, there’s usually no need to worry. If you notice any changes like blood in the stool or persistent fussiness, consult your pediatrician.
