nishiMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Doctors usually recommend vitamin d3 to infants,but if your baby is gaining enough weight(almost 250 gm a week) then u don't need to give extra medicines.For vitamin D take your kid out in the sunlight for 10-15 minutes on a daily basis.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi why? is it prescribed by your pediatrician? if yes then you can give it as per your doctor's prescription and if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight then no need of extra medicines
