#Asktheexpert It’s about my 6 1/2 months old daughter, she’s grunting for no reason. So loudly. Is it normal? I am afraid if her throat gets hurt.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. baby six and a half months of age so if baby is having any abnormal sounds then better to consult with your paediatrician sometimes they are normal and still get it checked

at this stage of age, babies start to check their vocal cords.
so usually it is normal.
just try to distract your child by giving toys .
keep your child hydrated.
maintain good hygiene.
