#asktheexpert is there any medicine for lactose intolerant babies that will help them have milk products? my son is 2 years old and eating milk products gives him loose motions.

A. Sorry to say there are no proven medications so far which will reduce the lactose intolerance and you have to be extremely careful while feeding the baby. I know it is difficult but what can we doWrite Your Answer Here

A. hi mam, usually it alright by the time naturally. so if your treating doctor permits you can start giving milk or milk based products. but you should start with that food in small quantity . so your child digestive system become used to of it.
