#AskTheExpert Is there a remedy to relieve baby from gas pain? My baby has been passing gas a lot throughout the day since yesterday and she becomes very fussy and crys a lot before passing gas. Due to which she is inactive a lot - she's either sleeping or crying.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introductijfon of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
