#asktheexpert is the flu vaccine essential for infants and toddlers during this pandemic?

A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required . It is not documendted but stvill studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .

Its Not a mandatory vaccination to go for it is an optional vaccination but yes I am going to say these days everybody saying that it is going to help a lot in protecting your child from the third wave of Covid so you should definitely go for influenza flu vaccinations after consulting your doctor
