Q.

#AskTheExpert Is it okay to provide a pacifier or teether to a baby who is already three months old and has started sucking his hand more frequently? If so, how will doing so affect the baby's dental development?

A. Hi yes you can give pacifiers or teething toys/ rings to your kid. don't make this a long term habit. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth to facilitate the eruption process of teeth
