#asktheexpert Is it okay to keep the child in diapers during the child's 9-10 hour sleep?

A. Baby diapering is very important where specific precautions are necessary. Baby skin is very tender and soft specially in the genital area where frequent urination and motion may be a increase risk factors for bacterial infection . you need to change the diaper frequently in such condition to avoid prolonged contact and friction which can cause rash . A regular mousturisation with a petrolium jelly or a diaper rash creamh is required . try to use disposable diapers as they are bertter absorbent than cloth one. Dont use diapers all the time for 24 hrs. keep some diaper free interval .

No no you should change your diaper is occasionally about 4 to 5 hours whenever you wake up to give a feeding to the child I think that’s the right time for you to change the diaper because if you keep your child into diaper for a very long time they can have save your diaper rashes and that’s very very painful for a childWrite Your Answer Here
