#asktheexpert Is it okay to give formula feed along with breastfeeding in alternate intervals? how to estimate the quantity of milk during breastfeeding?

A. Yes of course you can you formula feed in between breast-feeding sessions if you think that the breast-feeding is not sufficient for the baby. Start with 30 ML at a time and see how much the baby’s consuming and increase accordinglyWrite Your Answer Here

A. it is advisable to give breastfeeding to the child and if the child is crying excessively then only off a formula milk otherwise avoid it. you can give as long as the child is taking the milk

A. Hello dear parent, diri g breast feed you can not really measure how much baby is able to draw milk from,the breast.. It is always measured with the amount of urine baby passes if exclusively on breast feed. Baby should urinate 8 to 10 times in a day to ensure well fed and well hydration, Hope this will help you.
