#asktheexpert is it ok to give both breast milk and formula milk to baby if i feel breast milk isnt sufficient?

A. yes, ita fine, if your milk is not sufficient to your baby than formual milk is good option..Formula is better as it is made similar to breast milk. try to have healthy diet.

A. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. If not then make sure the baby is latching and taking feeds well or if ur milk supply is sufficient. Also there should be a gradual weight gain. Keep a check on these factors. If u think Breastmilk is not sufficient then u may supplement with formula.
