#asktheexpert is it OK to give 1 ml of vitamin d3 drops of any brand to 9 months old baby? mostly confused with patent (alkem) and generic(cipla)

A. if the baby is less than 6 months of age you can give 400 international units of vitamin D3 to the baby if baby is more than six months after one year give up to 800 international units depending on the need

A. Hi parent please give daily massage and sun light exposure it is best source of vitamin D3 please avoid self medication if your child have any discomfort Please consult with your pediatrician about this matter
