#asktheexpert is it ok for breast feeding mom to take 1st dose of COVID vaccine. my daughter is 2.5 months old

A. it is totally ok for breastfeeding mother to take the vaccination Corona vaccine can be given to both pregnant women and breastfeeding mother. as per the recommendations mother can take any brand of vaccine which is available in the market for Corona infection and also can continue breastfeeding. also mother can go for breastfeeding immediately after vaccination and if fever and pain occurs mother can take Paracetamol. the vaccine is totally safe

A. Hello mom According to new studies government has given permission to get vaccinated if you are a lactating mother so yes go and take a vaccination shot if you are breastfeeding your baby.
