Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. if the child is sleeping more than normal but the growth of the child is proper and in between activity of the child is normal then no intervention is required but if you feel that the child is lethargic and is not taking feeds properly then medidcal examination is very important

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. hi well , newborns spend their most of the time in sleep and feeding so as such no need to worry but if child is looking too sleepy suddenly,not taking feeds well, not gaining enough weight then it is advisable to visit your pediatrician
