#AskTheExpert is it necessary to go for RTPCR fir a 2year old when she is the primary contact of a covid asymptomatic patient

A. My baby is having no symptoms at all. she is not cooperating for Rt-PCR.Her father is covid positive with no symptoms at all.can you please suggest me the treatment n what precautions should i take as its very difficult to keep baby in isolation

A. yes it is very necessary to go for RT PCR as otherwise without rt-pcr it is not possible to suggest that baby is having anybody is having covid symptoms or not
