#asktheexpert is bottle feeding okay for my 1 month old daughter? At times the mother gets too tired at night to breastfeed the baby. Please suggest some possible solutions.

A. Yes,you can either use a pump and express the milk and offer with a bottle and if you want you can use the bottles which have a spoon in the end to feed

A. Hello ma’am You have sufficient breastfeed and good amount of breast feed then I would not advise you to give a bottle to the child I agree it is really tiring to feed baby all the time but trust me if once you start with formula feed you will automatically switch to it and then maybe a time when your child will not accept your breast feed so don’t start unnecessarily with formula feed continue exclusive breastfeeding for six months after that if you wish to you can start with it
