#asktheexpert is 6 month exclusive breastfeeding is compulsory or not. when I start his first weaning food? consistency, timings etc.. i my boy has increased spit ups. what can I do for him.

Yes it is mandatory to have exclusive breastfeeding for six months if you have that and the first food should be Dal and rice water or you can go for Suji ki kheer or Upma and a little bit of spitting generally happens because your stomach reflux will try to feed your child on demand always
