Babies gain 400-900 gm per month and doubles birth weight by 5-6 months and triples or nearer to triple of their birth weight by one year. The ideal weight of 10 months old should be 6.5-11 kg. After 6 -8 months they gain less weight due to achieving physical milestones check if baby is achieving milestones according to age.
