#asktheexpert I would like to start giving my baby cow's milk. she breastfeeds and on solids. when can I start giving her. most of the parents start giving cow's milk in 6 months only.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 1 year of age Cows milk or buffalo s milk can be given from 1 year of age till then it's advisable to get ve breast milk or formula feed you can also add sugar or dry fruit powder in the milk after 1 year

you can start giving because milk only after completion of 1 year
After completion of 6 months you can give water to the baby, but give 10 to 30 ml of water after the solid feed.
do not overload the baby with water as it may reduce the nutritional intake of food.
Give breast milk or formula milk along with water and semisolid feed
