#AskTheExpert I would like to know the food chart for 8 month old baby.I feel mother's milk is not sufficient and formula also stopped .kindly suggest what food pattern to follow.

A. Hello mommy, First day. Breakfast: Homemade Rice Cereal. Mid-Morning Snack: Dates and banana puree. Lunch: Pongal. ... Mid-Morning Snack: Coconut water. Lunch: Moong dal khichri. Evening Snack: Mashed kiwi. Dinner: Thick tomato beans soup. ... Evening Snack: Baked potato wedges. Dinner: Barley porridge. Fourth day. You can add variety every week. Your 8-month-old will still be taking 24 to 32 ounces of formula or breast milk every day. But mealtimes should also involve an increasing variety of foods, including baby cereal, fruits and vegetables, and mashed or pureed meats. As the solids increase, the breast milk or formula will decrease.
