Q.

#asktheexpert I want to know about the diet chart for my 8 montH 15 days baby. her weight is less. she is only 6.5kg.

A. Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually yeou can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudanaff can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk. initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

A. Hi mom As ur baby is 8 months old now u can give 2-3 meals in a day and give milk rest of the day to ur baby as demanded. Include ghee, dry fruits powder, Banana, potatoes, rice, avocado, sweet potato etc in ur baby's diet for weight gain

A. In 8 months, you can make some new food introductions in baby's diet which will help in increasing the healthy weight too. You can feed oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, chapati mashed in dal or milk, rice with dal, chicken soup, yolk of boiled egg, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, besan and beetroot cheela, veg cutlet, pan cake, waffle, Dalia, alongwith 4-5 times milk. Feed 3 main meals and a snack in a day.
