Q.
#AskTheExpert I try to burp the Baby. hold him for 5 mins in traditional burping position and sometimes make him sit on my lap, thus using another burping position. The Problem is, he hardly burps easily, throws out the Milk from the mouth instead. please tell me how Long after the Feed should I burp the baby.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. as your baby is too young good to follow right technique to give burp. after feeding keep him in upright position onto ur shoulder n Patting or rubbing a baby's back usually helps them to burp or pass gas.

Try for 5 minutes after giving burp.
If ur baby does not burp then wait for sometime and give burp again.
Secondly little spit up or curd type vomit is normal in babies. This is due to acid reflux in babies which will go with time as the baby grows up. so no need to worry
