#asktheexpert I need to join office from Feb 25, my daughter would be 5.5 month old then..can I start weaning from 5th month as I would not be available for bf and she is not taking formula at all.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist8 months agoA. It is ideal that you start solids only after six months or 180 days of age. You can try bumping your milk and storing it as that can be used for feeding when you’re not available or change the brands of formula and try to see if the baby will accept or not
