Q.

#AskTheExpert I m not able to BF baby because of low supply. Baby is mostly been fed with formula milk similac stage one. what are the side effects of this and how can i increase supply, as he is not able to latch without shield since day one and now he is somehow not even liking the shield thing. pls help.

A. eat more green leafy vegetables , sesame seeds , and garlic .. these are very helpful

A. why low supply. Breastfeeding is considered the best source of natural immunity and also all the antibodies to a newborn baby . Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .
