#asktheexpert I'm at my 37th week and 5days and my doc asked me to admit day after tomorrow to start my pain induction as I hav gestational diabetics... without any signs of labour is it normal to induce pain for normal delivery.

A. yes you can get induction done for your normal delivery there is no harm in fact after 37 weeks it is more better to get delivered as soon as possible to avoid chances of complications lately

Q. Hi.. I am running my 36th week now.. During my last visit in 34th week, my doc asked me to come by 37th week for a review.. She said she won't wait beyond week 37 and wil perform an rtpcr and have me admitted .. My question is should I get admitted without getting pain naturally in the 37th week itself?
