#AskTheExpert I'm 4weeks 6 days pregnant recently had undergone a USG where no foetal pole or yolk sac is seen please tell me is it normal or am I miscarrying

Gestational Age Week 6 (Fetal age: 4 weeks) The fetal pole is the first visible sign of a developing embryo.If there are no signs of pregnancy or inconsistent signs, like a large gestational sac without any yolk sac or fetal pole, it may mean you have a blighted ovum or are otherwise miscarrying. This is very common in the earliest weeks of pregnancy, when the risk is the highest.
