#AskTheExpert i have redness and swelling in one breast. It is very painful. My baby is 16 days old. I do breastfeed him from both breasts. What is the solution for the pain

its better to consult your gynaecologist for routine check up and start treatment as advised.
do hot fomentation and try to remove milk.
use nipcare ointment after feeding sessions

Pain is due to breast engorgement..
When u have pain, feed from that side. It will be fine. When the milk gets collected in breast u feel the pain.
U can apply coconut oil on the nipples to get relief from redness or sore nipples
