#AskTheExpert i have redness and swelling in one breast. It is very painful. My baby is 16 days old. I do breastfeed him from both breasts. What is the solution for the pain

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. can be due to breast engorgement its better to consult your gynaecologist for routine check up and start treatment as advised. do hot fomentation and try to remove milk. use nipcare ointment after feeding sessions

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Pain is due to breast engorgement.. When u have pain, feed from that side. It will be fine. When the milk gets collected in breast u feel the pain. U can apply coconut oil on the nipples to get relief from redness or sore nipples
