#asktheexpert I have one year old baby. can you recommend best food to gain weight and strength

A. Dear parent, for healthy weight gain and growth of your 1 year old baby, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. You can give non veg foods and eggs. Add powdered nuts like almonds, walnuts to baby’s foods. Dry fruits like dates. Add ghee to every meal. At least 500 ml of milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Continue to breastfeed till 2 years.
